The Festival of The Mind (Isle of Wight

Free Event

The Festival of the mind is a FREE event organised by Wight To Be Happy, which offers the opportunity for people to try all sorts of activities in a safe and supportive environment, which could potentially lead to greater happiness in their lives.

Helping Communities help themselves

We exist to support the 1,500 or more voluntary and community organisations that work so hard for the benefit of the Island and its residents. We aim to support the maintenance and development of community amenities and services, to help the Island have thriving communities where people get involved, help each other, and have access to the services they need.

Applied Health Research

We are the National Institute for Health Research Collaboration for leadership in Applied Health Research and Care (NIHR CLAHRC). Our research and implementation programme, funded by the NIHR and Partner organisations is now in its third year. Our impact so far illustrates our success in improving the health of the people of Wessex and the quality and cost-effectiveness of health care.
